Ahead of this year’s V Festival, the 24-year-old singer has listed her very own festival tips with “everything from logical thinking to fashion and make-up”.”I love the festival season and cannot wait to be in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge this year!” the blonde star said.

Pixie’s festival tips are as follows:

If you are camping my advice would be to pack dry clothes in something completely waterproof – like a sealed plastic bag.  Layer your clothes too incase it gets cold.  Pack a waterproof poncho and wellies just incase!Wet wipes and antiseptic wipes are a must as they come in handy for lots of things!  A toilet roll too!

As glass isn’t allowed into festivals, boxed wine with plastic glasses is also my tipple! Also handy to pack one large bottle of water with a couple of little ones – you can then use your large bottle to fill up from the drinking water taps.

If the sun comes out! – Sun cream is a must as well as NuBo instant lip perfection spf15 (this is very compact, hydrates and protects the lips from the sun’s damaging rays).

Focus on the eyes for festivals – your lips wear off. Have fun! I’ve drawn on little hearts, stuck on diamantes around my eyes. I’ve had sunflowers drawn on my face. The 60s thing.A smoky drawn-out eye. I love doing it on myself. Use a cotton bud – it makes it smoky but not harsh… smouldery. Get the eye shadow you want on the cotton bud and draw it underneath your eyes, bring it out to a side. Then get a blender brush with the same shadow and take it across the eyelid. Smoke it out as much as you want then add more black if you like.

Then get eyeliner and put it on the inside and put loads of mascara on. MAC eye shadows, Max Factor mascara and Dior kohl eyeliner or Rimmel gel eyeliner in a pot. At festivals MAC’s body art team have done flowers wrapped round my legs before, which look great.

Shove flowers in your hair, tie bandannas around it, put loads of plaits in it. Make it as messy and big as possible! I love experimenting with styles like little plaits and little ribbons with bows. Also a little half-up, half-down thing. I like to mix it up a bit. I love hair accessories; there are some beautiful ones out there.

At a festival you can go crazy and do what you want. A look me and Holly (Holly Rudge, Pixie’s hairstylist from Taylor Taylor London) do is little plaits with bows sewn in the ends. Using hairbands (to secure the braid) looks bulkier so Holly found a way of sewing it with a needle and thread and we attach flowers on the end. Pack a bottle of Batiste dry shampoo – a definite must!

Maybe pop along to a vintage shop or even a charity shop as they always have some good fashion gems ready to buy!

I bought a great red suede fringed jacket from Sandro, a Nasty Gal 60’s/70’s flower power crop top for festival fun, and if your lucky enough not to have to wear wellies, then I’m wearing sliders lots at the moment.

You always need shades for the sun and for when your eyes get hazy from a late night or no sleep all weekend! I have some crazy fun pineapple ones and some chic Fendi ones.

A chic rucksack is always good to put in all your essentials, dry shampoo, baby wipes etc and you won’t lose it when it’s on your back. I have a new pastel pink leather one from Gucci.

Four-time BRIT Award nominee Pixie Lott has said she can’t wait to grace the stage as the headline act for this year’s Warrington Festival.

Having recently rocked the stage at the Brentwood Festival in Essex and oozed Hollywood glamour in Puttin’ On The Ritz, the singer will now head north for her premiere performance in Warrington on Saturday, September 19 – her only North West concert date this year.

Pixie, known for her number ones Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh), Boys and Girls and All About Tonight, said: “I’m really looking forward to being the headline act for Warrington Festival.

“This will be my first time performing in Warrington but I’m always blown away by the enthusiasm of the North West audiences and the unbelievable buzz they create. I’m sure it will be an incredible evening.”

Pixie catapulted to worldwide fame in 2009 with debut album Turn It Up which reached platinum status on the strength of five consecutive Top 20 singles.

She has gone on to have three UK Number Ones, sold more than 4 million singles and 1.6 million albums worldwide, and received in excess of 60 million YouTube views.

Warrington Festival is a new three-week series of events to be held around different parts of the town throughout September.

Pixie’s appearance as the headline act is an exciting announcement for the Warrington Festival organisers.

Chris Persoglio, venue and events manager for Culture Warrington, said: “I am pleased we’ve been able to secure an artist as successful and internationally recognised as Pixie Lott to perform during the Warrington Festival.

“I am in no doubt tickets will prove extremely popular for what will be a great event in Bank Park, Warrington.”

Warrington Festival has been designed for people to celebrate sport, culture and entertainment across the borough.

The festivities consist of 25 events over 25 days and have been organised by a group of partners including Warrington Borough Council, LiveWire, Contest Sports, Warrington Wolves, Culture Warrington, and Warrington & Co.

Pop-star Pixie Lott stars in a sparkling new stage adaptation of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, London 2016.

This summer may be all about Audrey with a blockbuster exhibition celebrating the icon, but summer 2016 will see a new starlet play Holly Golightly: Pixie Lott will star in the her first West End show since childhood in a shimmering new stage adaptation of Truman Capote’s classic novella Breakfast at Tiffany‘s.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s play: London 2016

Almost 50 years since it was immortalised by the Hollywood film, the story will be adapted by Olivier and Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg. Breakfast at Tiffany’s on stage promises to capture the glamour of 1940s New York. Following sparkling socialite Holly Golightly as her search for a wealthy husband is foiled by the arrival of a handsome writer and romance blooms. But it’s not all light-hearted charm.

The goal of this version is to return to the original setting of the novella, which is the New York of the Second World War, as well as to resume its tone – still stylish and romantic, yes, but rougher-edged and more candid than people generally remember,” Richard Greenberg, playwright explained. A mixture of memorable songs from the era and a specially composed original score by Grant Odling (One Man Two Guvnors) will add to the fizz of the play.

Pixie Lott: Breakfast at Tiffany’s star

Exuberant heroine Holly Golightly, whose mean red moods, nameless cat and exquisite beauty still enamour crowds today, will be played by pin-up pop star Pixie Lott. Stage schooled from the age of 11, Lott has graced a London theatre since a childhood stint in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the West end.

With a string of smash hit songs (Mama Do, All About Tonight) and a cluster of awards, Lott’s already proved herself to be a talented performer. And her skills don’t stop at singing: she strutted her stuff to plenty of applause on Strictly Come Dancing. While it is a daunting prospect to take on a part made so iconic by the inimitable Audrey Hepburn, Pixie Lott is a promising prospect. She describes playing Holly Golightly as “a dream come true… I can’t wait to bring my own personality to the role“.
